Mounting antlers has never been easier! Taxidermists love this universal skull plate because it makes pinning a cinch! Skull plate utilizes Rack Hub® technology that allows the user to mount and adjust antlers easily with no adhesives.
With Universal Skull Plate powered by Rack Hub® Assembly you will get:
Hex to Hex Connection - Antler Inserts have a hex shape on the inner diameter that nests neatly over the hex stem coming off of the ball. This Hex to Hex creates a no-slip connection to keep your antlers fixed right where you want them.
360º Rotation - Your antlers can be rotated on the ball and stem around the center pivot point and displayed in any manner you choose. The 360° Rotation around the axis allows for personalized customization and perfect spread width.
Antler Versatility - Any antler that has an antler insert installed can be swapped out at any time, no matter the species. Take them off, show them around, and dock them back.
Double Lock - All ball joint products have Double Lock Technology. The Knurled Cap around the ball acts as the first lock when tightened, and a second lock can be found in the set screw below the ball. This ensures your antlers won't tip and break.
North of 90º - When our product is installed to a vertical surface, the ball/stem component cannot rotate downward far enough for your antlers to fall off.
Friction Fit - Our ‘friction fit’ refers to the 12 splines on the outer portion of the insert that fit into the antler without the aid of any adhesives. No waiting for glue to dry.
